Buck Crouch


Buck Crouch specializes in the design, implementation and management of operation and manufacturing systems. This starts with the supply chain development of supplier and customer relationships to form a foundation of synergistic cooperation. Quality assurance concepts are tightly woven into all systems as they are designed by combining the tenets of the FDA’s cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and the ISO-9000 suite of quality practices. His engineering background and extensive manufacturing systems experience allows for the smooth integration of product life cycle and new product development. His consulting company, The Generalist, Inc., serves clients throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and Thailand.

Mr. Crouch has a passion for education and lifelong learning. He has taught the APICS CPIM, CIRM and CSCP classes with the Tucson, Nogales, San Diego and Phoenix chapters. He has also taught classes at Pima College in Tucson and Nogales, at the University of Phoenix, at San Diego State University and at UCSD La Jolla.

Buck serves in leadership roles in several organizations. He is the current VP of Finance for the Tucson Chapter of APICS and has previously served in most of the board positions, including president. He has also served on the board for the San Diego Chapter. He is the community liaison for the Kino Rotary Club of South Tucson and is an active member. He is past president and a current board member for the Sunnyside Unified School District Foundation. He serves as parliamentarian and board member for the Sunnyside Alumni Association. He is past president and current treasurer for the USS Narwhal (SSN-671) Veterans Inc., as well as serving the organization in other capacities. Buck is also an active member of the Sunnyside Neighborhood association and an active member of the Sunnyside Learning Communities Leaders. Finally, Mr. Crouch serves as a science and rules judge for the Arizona Regional High School Science Bowl.
